Born in a remote village in southern Bhutan, PL Sharma embarked on his tourism career at an early age. He extensively traveled throughout Bhutan, spanning from the Himalayas to the foothills, which bestowed him deep insights into religious sites and adventure destinations. His thirst for exploration extended beyond Bhutan, leading him to explore Southeast Asian countries and immerse himself in diverse cultures. This international exposure fueled his passion for travel and prompted him to pursue scholarships in travel management from esteemed institutions in Singapore and Thailand. With over 15 years of industry experience, Sharma founded the Bhutan Travel Center, driven by his unwavering love for travel. Through this venture, he provides exceptional services, sharing the beauty and culture of Bhutan.
Pranita Sharma
Head, Operation
Pranita has a Bachelors in Operation from Royal Thimphu College. As the Head of Operations at Bhutan Travel Center, she takes deep pleasure in providing customers with an enjoyable experience. Her detail-oriented approach to her work ensures that all organization of tours happens with the highest standards. From processing the travel documents to ensuring timely arrangements of stays and visits, Pranita supervises all company services, work, and duties so that customers can enjoy their Bhutan visit without any worries.
Norbu Jamtsho
Finance Officer
Norbu has worked at Bhutan Travel Center for 8 years and oversees the finance section. He graduated with an accounting degree from Gedu College, Royal University of Bhutan. He manages customer bills and invoices, along with other financial processes and documents. He is adept at analyzing financial data, which drives greater quality decision-making at the company. His hobbies are trekking, hiking, and reading books.
Sonam Chuki
Head, Reservation
Sonam has been with Bhutan Travel Center for the last 5 years. She underwent international reservation training and gained a lot of experience to ensure that all our clients are happy. She manages the booking process and ensures that our customers receive timely reservations for locations and hotspots. Due to her work experience, she has a vast connection to the tourism industry. She is friendly and has a dedicated staff.

Dawa hails from the distant town of Tashigang and has been with us for 4 years. He is a mountain and trekking enthusiast and loves sharing his experiences with others. Dawa is qualified and strong enough to lead expeditions into Bhutan’s high altitude mountains. He knows every pass and mountain landscape in Bhutan like the back of his hand. Sonam Wangdi
Trekking & Cultural Guide
Sonam is from the southwest district of Bhutan called Tsirang. Even as a teenager, he showed interest in many areas, such as traveling, hiking, and photography. He started his career in the tourism industry in 2020 as a full-time guide with Bhutan Travel Center. His friendly nature always leads to a sociable atmosphere, which encourages those around him to relax and participate in all manner of fun activities. At the same time, he is driven and professional when it comes to work. He loves meeting and talking to fellow travelers from sites with historical and cultural interest.
Kinley Tenzin
Tour Leader
Kinley is one of the senior tour leaders in our company. His passion for travel, hiking, and photography, combined with his friendly and sociable nature, made him an exceptional tour leader. Ugyen comes from Trongsa. Inspired by his father, who worked in the Bhutanese tourism industry for decades, Ugyen started working as a cultural expert guide at the young age of 18. At Bhutan Travel Center, he ensures that customers who are cultural enthusiasts have a good time in his company. His well-rounded skills as an entertainer, including dancing, singing, and cooking delicious meals, surely create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering memorable interactions and experiences for travelers.
