By booking a tour with us, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. Please read these terms carefully to ensure you understand and accept them before confirming your booking. It is your responsibility to review and understand these terms for your own protection.
Passports and
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits, and certificates for the countries in which you will visit before or after your Bhutan trip. Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits, and certificates for your trip.
You will be required to pay a deposit or make full payment upon confirmation of your booking. The remaining balance can be settled up to three weeks prior to arrival or upon arrival. For tours that include luxury hotels, full payment may be required, and we will provide this information before confirming your booking. Bhutan Travel Center guarantees that the price of your tour will not increase after confirmation.
Our tour cost does not include airfare. However, if you need assistance with booking both international and domestic flights, we can help arrange them for you. We strongly recommend that clients reconfirm flight times with the airline before departure. For smooth travel, please check in at least 3 hours before departure for both domestic and international flights, and ensure you are at the gate at least 45 minutes prior to departure.
Travelers under 18 years old (minors) must be accompanied by an adult guardian throughout the entire trip. The accompanying adult is fully responsible for the minor’s behavior, well-being, and supervision. This responsibility includes ensuring the minor is adequately monitored and cared for during the journey. Each adult accompanying one or more minors accepts full accountability for these aspects and agrees to adhere to all related terms and conditions. This responsibility encompasses all matters related to the minor’s conduct and care throughout the trip.
In the event of a medical emergency during your trip to Bhutan with Bhutan Travel Center, we will promptly take you to the nearest hospital or medical facility for necessary treatment. Our team will ensure that you receive appropriate care and will make every effort to provide additional support as needed. Your well-being is our priority, and we will coordinate with medical professionals to ensure you receive the best possible care.
To cancel a booking, a client must provide written notice to Bhutan Travel Center. Due to the costs associated with canceling travel arrangements, the following cancellation fees will apply, based on the date we receive your cancellation request:
• 45 days or more: Full refund of the trip cost
• 30-44 days: 80% refund of the trip cost
• 20-29 days: 50% refund of the trip cost
• 15-19 days: 30% refund of the trip cost
• 0-14 days: No refund; 100% cancellation fee
Clients are responsible for any bank charges or fees related to refund transfers.
Please note that luxury hotels and airlines have their own cancellation policies, which may differ from Bhutan Travel Center policy. Contact us if you have questions about specific hotels or airlines and their refund policies.
The cancellation policy is as follows:
• 30 days or more: 90% refund of the ticket cost
• 10-29 days: 75% refund of the ticket cost
• 4-9 days: 50% refund of the ticket cost
• 0-3 days: 100% cancellation fee
Note: No refunds are available for rescheduled tickets. Fees apply for changing dates.
Please note that the cost of the tour does not include insurance. We strongly recommend that all clients obtain comprehensive insurance coverage to protect against potential risks, including trip cancellation due to illness, accident or injury, personal accident, personal liability, and loss or damage to baggage. We are not responsible or liable for any issues arising from a lack of adequate insurance. It is also advised that your insurance covers any emergencies that may occur during your trip.
Participating in our trips may raise certain risks that are outside of our control. Traveling through undeveloped areas, using various modes of transportation such as cars, planes, or horseback, encountering natural forces, facing political instability, and the possibility of accidents or illness, damage, accident, loss, delay, death, or irregularities that may be caused to a person in remote locations where quick evacuation or medical assistance may not be readily available. Although we will take steps to prioritize your safety and comfort, we can’t be held responsible for risks or dangers that are out of our control. In the event of cancellation due to uncontrollable circumstances (such as weather, transport strikes, political unrest, and war), guests shall bear any cost incurred during the processing of the tour.
During your participation in any of our tours, we may capture images, photos, or videos featuring you, subject to your approval. With your consent, these visuals may be used for marketing, promotional activities, and creating promotional materials. We respect your privacy, and should you agree to license these images or videos to us, they will be used exclusively for these purposes. Your consent permits us to utilize the visuals across various mediums without any further obligation or compensation to you.
